I transferred this one a few weeks ago but I assumed it sounded like hot garbage so I wasn’t going to post. It is not that bad for a 1986 audience tape in a room with poor acoustics.
From the sound of the tape, it sounds like it was mastered by Ricky (flat/no low end but somewhat clear). If so, it is a 1st gen.

Let me remind you that Verbal Assault is playing the TINY Cafe Colonial tonight! They are playing alongside a stacked bill of bands, including Gel.
The tape itself is a bit of a mystery. I clearly got this in trade with someone outside of the Sacramento area, which is odd. Almost all of my KDVS tapes came from Ken Doose, Mike Siou, or the bands themselves. As a result, the tape sounds a bit fast due to multiple high-speed dubs I would guess. I am terrible at fixing pitch so I kept it as is. Enjoy, and come on out tonight. Ticket link in FB comments.
