Here’s another Freeze video that I don’t see online yet. It’s a short clip and the video quality is not great, but it sounds good. and that 1986-88 time frame was my favorite- Rabid Reaction is my favorite of theirs.

The one time I video’d The Freeze in Reno (2016), I showed up way too early for the show so I was able to talk to Clif at length about stuff. After talking for a while, I asked him how he felt about some peer bands along with ones they influenced getting really big, while The Freeze were playing Jub Jub’s Thirst Parlor… He took full ownership. He told me that he was a master of self-sabotage and his personal/addiction issues were the cause. I appreciated his honesty and I have been pulling for the band’s success even more, ever since. I guess that’s why this one is hitting so hard.

I was planning on bringing them to Sac soon, plus heading to so cal the next time my schedule lined up with a Freeze show.
