Last month, I announced that we had a new collection from Scott Davey from Iguana Studios- he had recently passed and I picked up a bunch of tapes from his estate sale. It was time to post another one of his videos and all of his tapes are here in the studio, in boxes. I can’t lift anything so I grabbed a random video tape and it was this. If this is what his collection is going to be like, we are in for a huge treat!

From what I can tell, Scott and a cameraman friend took a TV camera into J.C. Burris’ San Francisco apartment sometime in the 80s and filmed this. It is a “live” performance while sitting on his bed, and then a showcase with his folk art marionettes.

With the “tape 1” label, there might be more. Hot damn! Thanks Scott!!
