The Dickies- Live 1985 Flipside Video no. 6 xfer from VHS Master Enhanced Punk
I have had this one uploaded on YT for about 6 weeks, hoping to figure out what the venue/exact date is. I have had no luck. All references to Flipside Video #6 just says “Live 1985”. If anyone has any detail about the show, let me know.

Speed Queens- Rehearsal Demo Mid 80s Transfer from master/1st gen cassette San Francisco Rock Punk
This is the last audio tape that I have from Alfie Kulzick and I have had it on my desk for quite a while. The tape was seized up and I thought that I was going to have to do a re-shell but I was able to loosen up the shell and force the tape to move. It was stuck together in spots so you will hear some dropouts on the tape.
Now that I listen closer, this might be a live performance
I should probably clean heads on the Dragon after this one

O-Type: Demo 1985 Transfer from Master Demo Tape MX-80 Sound San Francisco Avant Garde Rock
O-Type were formed by 3 members of MX-80 after they disbanded in the mid 1980’s, including MX-80’s 2 founding members.
Members were Bruce Anderson, Dale Sophiea, Dave Mahoney, and Marc Weinstein.

C.O.C.- Unknown Venue City 1985 xfer f/Unknown gen VHS tape Corrosion of Conformity
I usually avoid posting something like this- a super short clip of unknown origin- but it is too awesome to pass up. Just the guy climbing on the PA and diving 10 feet onto the crowd is worth a post alone. This one is from Todd Nakamine’s collection. I am digitizing ALL of his VHS tapes- including a ton of non-music stuff- and this one was at the end of a Johnny Carson episode, it just cuts into it at this point.
Please let me know if you can ID any info about this one. If this is already out there in longer/similar/better quality, I’ll post something else from Todd today.

Unknown Mix tape from Scott Davey’s collection HELP NEEDED Van Morrison Little Feat Radiators
I debated posting this one because it is a grab bag of randomness, but if these audience recordings are Scott’s, it would be a bummer to bury them forever. So here you go, help me sort this out. Nothing is a direct “hit” in youtube’s copyright algorithm.
It starts with some keyboard noodling, which I suspect is Scott. Then there is an audience recording of someone who sounds like Van Morrison. I also heard “willin” that was written by Little Feat. Any help to sort this out is appreciated.
There are a few tapes like this in Scott’s collection that I can put up if there is interest.

Donner Party- The Donners Demo mid 1980s xfer f/Band Archive cassette Indie Pitch a Tent Quasi
It’s the Patreon Voter’s Choice! This is a weekly thing where my Patreon subscribers get to vote on what is posted. I have to admit, I was shocked that this actually won the vote. I was thrilled that it won, but shocked.
If you like this, 8 of these tracks are on the NEW reissue LP of Donner Party’s self-titled debut LP. They are bonus demo tracks to accompany a repress of the debut album. The reissue was released by a european label and I could not find a copy without paying a ton of money for shipping… but I was eventually able to find one from Ebay/Deep Discount CD, believe it or not. I think Target even had it on their website. What the heck? Anyway, if you like this, buy the LP. It should sound better on the record. My LP should be here tomorrow.
