Here’s a lesson in the value of a good sound man. I was able to EQ the Exodus set from this night and it sounds pretty good. I don’t know what happened with the slayer set, but I can’t get it to sound even close to the same quality. I even tried to use the same EQ settings as the exodus set but no. So, I EQ’d the best I could and ran it through Izotope.. meh. I might take another swing at this later. It sounds like they were pushing a lot of guitar volume from the stage.
Is this the (in)famous show where the crowd yells at slayer to take off the eye makeup? I think it might be. I tried googling it and could not find much.
