Movie Stars- Victoria Theater, San Francisco Ca 4/21/90 xfer from 8mm master tape Red Meat

for On This Date in History, I decided to share yet another one that I filmed a long time ago . Just like the Rhett Miller yesterday, this is a “standard” transfer with the old setup and there is better audio that I can synch eventually. Anonymous was on the floor with his D6/ECM909 setup and I was on the balcony.. and it didn’t sound good up there.
The Movie Stars were a great alt country/americana band from San Francisco. A few members started Red Meat after the band disbanded in the early 90s.

Buck Owens- Victoria Theater, San Francisco Ca 1/15/89 xfer f/ master? audio tape Soundboard FM

I forgot an audio post yesterday! I was in bed drifting off to sleep and my brain was going “you forgot an audio post- you should get up and” zzzzzz. So you get 2 audio and 1 video today. This one is really nice quality and I think that Scott probably taped this off the radio. It was broadcast locally (can’t find the station name right now) and they got the mix dialed in.

I almost didn’t post because this seems to be released on Collector Choice but I can’t tell if it is an official release. I decided to go ahead since the quality is stellar and I don’t see it on YT.

Spectral denoise in Izotope Rx8 (there was a low hum that needed to go)
