Collections post from Anonymous 2 today. The Sextants formed in the late ’80’s in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They moved to San Francisco in 1987 and they were seemingly everywhere in the bay area in the late 80s/early 90s. They did 1 major label album and then I thought that was it… but I see from their bandcamp page that they have a ton of other releases. Wow, who knew?

Even with all of that newly discovered bandcamp stuff, this one doesn’t seem to be available for sale from the band. It also doesn’t shazam to any official releases, so here you go.

I loved the early SF “pre-alternative” scene of the late 80s. So many great bands.

it sounds like the program was repeated on both sides so you get a repeat of the songs at about 10:30 in.
