The Boneless Ones- 3rd & Castro, Oakland Ca. 3/6/22 4K UHD complete show w/ Rode Videomic Pro Stereo

Man, this one took forever to render to 4k on YT. We might see Exhumed and the complete Exodus set next month at this rate.
Anyway, Boneless Ones were the first band up. I thought I had given myself plenty of time (over 2 hours!) to drive from Sacramento, find parking and get ready to film. Nope. I got in at 1:55pm for a 2pm set time. Also, the sun was a huge pain in the ass for their set- the shadows darkened the front of their body, so I had to crank up my exposure to compensate.
It was a good set- this version of the boneless ones is different than the ones I have heard on compilation records- very metal thanks to Craig Locicero (Forbidden, Dress the Dead) and Chris Kontos (a million bands, but probably best known for Attitude Adjustment and Machine Head).

Boneless Ones- Sproul Plaza, Berkeley Ca 4/11/87 xfer from master VHS tape Enhanced Skate Rock Punk

Hm. I could have sworn that I had seen this one on YT before, but I can’t find it. I know that Max from the band posted some songs from this on facebook to promote their release of the 1987 Lost Cassette (available on Bandcamp), but nothing here on youtube.
This one is a pretty rare performance of the 80’s band lineup- not many videos of these guys out there. They have since reformed with new members and are currently active.

Hellhound / The Boneless Ones- Ruthie’s Inn, Berkeley Ca 2/7/86 xfer from master audio cassette Skate Punk Incom

I am still digitizing today’s On This Date in history, so let’s do the collections post first.
I was digitizing one of Wayne’s master recordings from Ruthie’s 2/7/86 (that’s a spoiler alert btw- legendary show), and it looks like he recorded 5 minutes of The Boneless Ones’ set. Found media! Thanks Wayne.
UPDATE: 1 song from Hellhound, 1 from Boneless Ones!
There aren’t many recordings of the 1980s lineup, so this is somewhat rare and special.
