Big thanks to Isabellaaskaan for letting me know that I had already posted Friday’s collections post previously- that Beach Boys’ EPK went up in June and I posted it again on Friday. Whoops, I forgot to check that apparently. Here is another EPK from Todd Nakamine’s collection that I know I have not personally posted yet and a search on YouTube doesn’t yield anything. These look like the usual promos with a red or blue border- nothing groundbreaking but good to document.

Los Fabuloso Shakers- Compilation VHS tape transfer f/official/bootleg? VHS Tape Uruguay Merseybeat
Time for a history lesson. This one is from my collection.
“Los Shakers were a pioneering 1960s rock band from Montevideo, Uruguay, widely famous for bringing the British Invasion and Merseybeat sound to Latin America. Often dubbed the “Latin American Beatles,” they influenced rock music across the continent.”
Oh man, I could go on and on about this one. I sold this on Ebay last month and the buyer didn’t understand PAL vs NTSC encoding standards. I tried educating him, but they kept saying “I thought you said this was VHS”… IT IS PAL ENCODED VHS, gah! Luckily I was able to cancel the sale and it is still available on Ebay if you are dying to own this tape.
This seems to be a comp of a bunch of different TV appearances. The A/V synch is comically off at times as on the tape.
It’s pretty cool- I had never heard of the band before.
