Subhumans- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 4/18/25 4K UHD Multicam w/Schoeps Audio England Anarcho Punk

Today has been pure chaos and it is only 9am! I just need to get to Aftershock by noon and all will be ok. Let’s do the collections post first today. This is the last of the BOB Fest videos that I shot, and what a show! The only nitpicky issue I have is with the gopro on the bass player, it is a bit off center but you need to guess when you set these things up and I guessed wrong.

Sorry to Dick- I promised him that I would have a multitrack audio mix for this, but Gilman changed their policy on that which is why this was all audience audio. Still not bad, it sounded good in the room.

Subhumans- Empire Events Center, Sacramento Ca 3/30/06 xfer from MiniDV Master Tape

Here’s one for today’s On This Day in History that a bunch of friends attended, I bet. I wasn’t there. In fact I went to a whopping 3 shows from the beginning of 2006 until August 11, as I was working full time, single father half time, and caring for my sick Mom until she passed. She had cancer and I was her only child so care responsibilities fell on my Aunt and me. It was a surreal year for sure.
Anyway, this is another one that Josh Parten sent to me many years ago to digitize for him. Camerawork is pretty shaky.

Subhumans- Showbox, Seattle Wa 3/27/03 xfer from VHS-C Master Tape incomplete

Here’s another short video for you- it’s short video day I guess. This one is from Arica Pelino’s collection. As I digitized all of The Enemies shows that she taped on that March 2003 west coast tour, there was this 3 minute clip of The Subhumans that was recorded after the enemies’ set that was not labeled on the tape. Taped from the backstage area- there are some great crowd/venue shots.

Subhumans- Club Minimal, Sacramento Ca. 1983 xfer from master or low gen audiotape

Here is another rare treat from Tom Soriano. After having a grand total of ONE Club Minimal show in my collection for 30+ years, here is #4, with 3 coming in the past month. I am unsure about the date- when you look at Danny Ensele’s GREAT concertarchives site, it looks like Subhumans played Minimal on 4/15/84. Do any of the old timers know if they played there more than once?
