The Reivers- Spirit Club, San Diego Ca 4/6/89 transfer f/1st gen audio cassette Zeitgeist Sony Pro

Catch-up continues with this one from Craig Hilmer’s collection. The Bernat Brothers taped this one- they recorded a bunch of stuff in the San Diego/Southern Cal area in the late 80s into the 90s with their Sony Pro Walkman.

I never realized that The Reivers were getting press like this in the image. Look at that- right next to Marie Osmond and a larger writeup!

The Pandoras- Spirit Club, San Diego Ca 7/9/88 xfer from 1st gen audio cassette Complete Show

Here is one for On This Date in History that I got from the guy who taped it- I traded with him in the early 90s and he had so much good stuff from the San Diego area. I got the Pleasure Barons video and a bunch of other stuff from him as well. I wish I remembered his name. He was friends with the Bernat brothers.
This is such a fun Pandoras era- I like the garagey “Stop pretending” era the most, but you get a mix of those songs and the newer hard rock songs. I think Kim and Melanie were in the band at this point.
I didn’t rate this one too well but the recording was clean so it EQ’d nicely!
