Scooby Doo- Live Stage Show, Great America, Santa Clara Ca Summer 1999 xfer from 8mm master

Now for something TOTALLY different! It IS music and it is filmed by a Sacramentan, so up it goes. This is more of a gift to my 2 older sons that you all get to enjoy too. My sons and I were such big Scooby Doo fans that we had season passes to Great America in Santa Clara- a 2.5 hour drive each way, without traffic. We went a lot and we must have seen this stage show 10 times. I decided to just film it so they could watch later, and they must have watched this thing 50 times at home.
It would be awesome to ID the performers if you happen to know.
Happy 30th birthday to my son Zach (July 19) and Happy 32nd to Cameron (July 24)!
PS: PARENTS: If a young child is watching this, make sure you shut this off before it autoplays the next video. Last thing I need is a Dwarves video autoplaying after this

Slack Babbath- One Step Beyond, Santa Clara Ca. 8/19/93 Bostaph Forbidden Thrash Metal xfer f/Master

Collections post time- this one comes from Bootleg Cowboys’ collection. I had originally asked if I post this because Scott Capizzano (Scotty Slam) was in Slack Babbath. But after digging into it, this might be a different band called Slack Babbath- there seemed to be multiple versions of the band back in the 90’s.

This one has a revolving cast of characters, but Bostaph is on drums for at least a bit. The entire OG Forbidden lineup is up there for a bit as well. Unfortunately, the audio is pretty glitched up. I will try to re-run this one on a different player once the TBC comes back. I already miss the TBC– it’s been ONE day. Lol. Crap.

Looks like this show took place 10 days before the closing of One Step Beyond, and the SF Stone. Nice capture.

Cro-Mags: One Step Beyond, Santa Clara Ca 7/13/86 xfer from master tape w/partial improved audio

This one comes from Tim Redd Gallaher- he mailed me a DVD of this about a month ago- thanks Redd! The master tape is missing/gone but this DVD survived.

The audio track of the video is super distorted- borderline unlistenable. The crazy thing is that I had an audio recording of about 20 minutes of this set- so forward to about 6min 30 seconds if you want listenable audio- it’s pretty decent sounding for the last 19:00.

This is probably the best quality Cro-Mags video from 1986, and it’s absolutely nuts that it finally surfaces in 2025.

Nation on Fire- One Step Beyond, Santa Clara Ca 7/13/86 xfer from master VHS tape

This is the last one from Redd Tim Gallaher’s collection for now. He sent me a DVD of Cro Mags and this band- Nation on Fire. Redd was in the band. Unfortunately, the audio is very distorted and unlike the cro-mags, I do not have a better quality cassette recording. I tried to mix some of the distortion out of it in Sony Soundforge but it is still a tough listen.
Thanks Redd for sending the disc!
