Russ Gibb NYC Street Footage July 1989 Lossless xfer from master beta tape

A youtube commenter asked for all of the raw Russ Gibb NYC Street footage from that Token Entry interview, so here is a rare non-musical post. It looks like it has some punk rockers in there, so we’ll call it good enough.
If you want an actual musical post, you can sign up for updates at sacramentomusicarchive.com — I am posting a super secret Roger Waters multicamera thing from Sacramento last month over there. Can’t access it anywhere else.

Russ Gibb- Interviews with Punks and Skinheads, Toronto Canada 9/87 xfer f/master tape

Collections post time! This is from one of the many Russ Gibb tapes that I was able to snag off Ebay. The tape just said “Toronto 9/87” – that was how a lot of the Russ auctions went- you had a vague description on the tape and you kinda rolled the dice when you bid on it.

This one turned out to have a bunch of interviews with punks and skins, along with an apparent mentally ill guy at the very end.

Russ Gibb- Back Porch Video on PM Detroit TV Show 1984 Summer xfer master/low gen tape Burt Reynolds

It’s been a day and a half without my BS. Did anyone miss me? I was driving home from Las Vegas- I don’t recommend it.
Here is one that is not strictly music, but there is enough music related stuff that it is worth a post. Plus it has the original commercials- that’s how I was able to date it. This is another one that I snagged off Russ’ estate on Ebay. Glad I did! There is a bit of hum in the audio. That along with a couple picture flaws lead me to believe that Russ might have gotten a copy of this instead of taping it himself.

I can’t remember if this is VHS or Beta, but it was done with my usual gear
