Sam Coomes- Red Museum, Sacramento Ca. 9/28/16 Quasi Part 1
I first saw Sam at the UC Davis Coffeehouse in April of 1989. Have you ever been to a show and heard an artist for the first time, and knew you’d be a lifelong fan. That happened my first time I saw the Donner Party. They broke up shortly after that, but I have been following Sam’s career with Quasi, Blues Goblins, and his solo material. Even though I am FB friends with him, I somehow missed that he was playing Sacramento until the day before the show. I dropped other plans and went to the show. It was great! He has a new CD out called Bugger me that most of this material is from, I think.
