It’s a video for today’s On This Date in History, and another one from Jason Ross’ collection. I am pretty sure that he filmed this one as well.
The Red Aunts set is only about 30min, but I somehow messed this disc up and there is almost an hour of extra stuff afterwards that is probably marked on the tape, but not documented here. Whoops!

Here is (I think) the last one from Wayne Triggs’ stack of videos. This one had some pretty severe noise from the VHS dub which took about 5 tries before I could get it to clean up without affecting the picture. The band seems real excited about playing this show: “Whare are we? Hell. We are in Hell”

Ah, Monday! Another 100+ degree day in Sacramento. It’s getting old, folks.
What isn’t getting old is fresh 30-year-old content from the KALX Archive! Especially with an under documented band like Red Aunts.
KALX interviewed the band during their show at Bottom of the Hill in 1993- then it sounds like they edited it together with some album tracks and broadcast it sometime later.
