OK, THIS is the multicamera version of the 7 seconds show I promised yesterday. This was my first multi camera show that I did on my own. Someone tripped over the back tripod, so the stage is not centered in the screen! Annoying. Filmed with 1 Canon HF200 and 1 Canon HFM30 cameras.
Good news regarding yesterday’s video- Jakobe from the Deathryders and Matt from the Cafe have given us multitrack stubs to mix… so you will be getting a MUCH better sounding video soon! Thanks guys! In keeping with the “I can’t believe I screwed up the video” theme, here is one of my greatest video f*ckups of all time. The band got to the fest super late- well after their posted start time. As they were scrambling to get set up, I asked if I could video and they gave me the OK. I did a 1 camera from the audience and it looked amazing. I was going to have it synched with this audio source, when I accidentally deleted it from the hard drive and the memory card and I could not recover it. So we only have audio. Sounds really good- enjoy. This kind of crap never happened in the analog days. Grr.

This was my first time to this venue. I drove on the backroads of woodland for what seemed like forever in the dark and you come up on one small building among the ag fields. What a bizarre but cool place to have a venue/show. I have not heard of any shows there for a long time- does anyone know if they still have them? This was also my first time seeing the Avengers. I had been a fan for many years, but missed the Scavengers gilman show in 99. I was too young to see them the first time around. My memory is playing tricks on me- I thought that I had been on the left side of the venue but this looks like I filmed it dead center. The DAT audio sounds really nice after a few minutes. Good main set, and then the band gets called back for an unexpected 10min encore. Good stuff.
