Park Street Riot – Owlfest 11 This one goes to eleven!, Blue Mountain Event Center, Wilseyville CA 06/23/2023

Owlfest 11 “This one goes to eleven!”, eleventh year of this homegrown festival in the California hills, this year was Heavy Metal themed inspired by Spinal Tap and most bands covered a metal song in that spirit. Over twenty-five acts grace the Owlfest stages over a three-day event with camping, vendors, and activities. Owlfest 11 took place at the Blue Mountain Event Center up in Wilseyville, CA, and Taper Jim McLain was there to document several of the acts’ performances.

Park Street Riot- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca 3/24/23 Multicam with Rode Audio

Funny story behind this one- this was edited and ready for upload back in October.. but I held off posting it because I had soundboard multitrack files of the set and I wanted to learn how to mix them, so I finally did that this week (Special shout out to Pat Hills for the help with my audio laptop setup and help getting started). Well, once I started the multitrack edit on this one, I realized that a lot of the channels were over driven and had a bunch of static. I might work on it a bit more to see if I can make it sound better, but I will just make that an audio post one day. The audience mic sounds good enough here.
Anyway, here are locals Park Street Riot, opening for Love Gang and Los Dug Dugs.

Park Street Riot- Owlfest, Kelseyville Ca 6/28/19

Owlfest is a homegrown festival that started as a group of like minded bands and their friends in the desert, and has evolved and expanded over nine years of festivities.  Over twenty acts grace the Owlfest stages over a three day event with camping, vendors, and activities.  Owlfest 8 took place at the Blue Mountain Event Center up in Wilseyville, CA, and Taper Jim McLain was there to document several of the acts’ performances.
