There was a short time in the 1993-1994 time frame when the legendary Palomino Club in N. Hollywood booked some notable alternative bands. I saw the Meat Puppets and Uncle Tupelo there a couple of months apart in 1993. It was really cool to see all of the amazing photos on the walls of the artists who played there. I should have taken video of that, but I chickened out.
This is another nice mix by Davo Claasen- great soundman and nice guy. This one was a little light on guitar, but the rest of the mix was solid. I popped it in Izotope and boosted the guitar +7. I was one of about 10 decks recording this show- just another Meat Puppets show in L.A.
