Nite Owls- Ozone, San Francisco 1980s transfer from Beta Master? New Wave

This one is from Scott Davey’s collection and it is, once again, somewhat of a mystery. I transferred a tape that was also called “nite owls ozone” from 1982 back in March and it is a) from a different venue b) much worse quality than this- this one has no flaws and c) shorter than this one by about 10min. Odd.

Anyway, a nice bit of obscurity for those of you who enjoy it. EDIT: I finally found something about this band AND venue on newspapers dot com. This is a couple of guys from Translator (415/columbia records) playing covers with a pick up band.

Nite Owls- Ozone, San Francisco? 1982 xfer f/low gen VHS tape

Here’s another obscure entry from Scott Davey’s collection. Going through Scott’s tapes is quite a project- the vast majority are not even music, so I need to plug in VHS tape after VHS tape to try to figure out what is what.

This one is badly flawed for about the first half of the show- it pulls out of it at the 17 minute mark. I cannot find any information on this band, and google searches of the venue tell me that it was a disco in the San Fernando Valley? That can’t be right. If you know anything about the band or the venue, please let me know.
