Slayer- Scum, Katwijk Netherlands 5/31/85 xfer from master or 1st gen Soundboard tape thrash metal

The onslaught of early metal from Doug’s collection continues. I am not clear on if this is a master tape, or a copy from the master. I do know that this is way cleaner than the currently circulating versions. There is virtually no hiss on this tape.
With that said, the mix was not great. I did my best to improve it, but this is about as good as I could get it. I did some pretty radical things in Izotope, but there was no getting those guitars any louder. They jump up during leads anyway.

Redwing- Leeuwarden, Netherlands 2/3/74 Xfer from band/KZAP archives Sacramento 70’s Country Rock

HUGE thanks to Dennis Newhall for another batch of uncirculated archival 1970s Sacramento band performances.
Redwing were a rock band on the Fantasy Records label. They released 5 LPs in 5 years, from 1971-1975.
Members at this time were:
Bass – Dale Lyberger, Tim Schmit*
Drums, Trumpet, Vocals – George Hullin
Lead Guitar, Vocals – Andrew Samuels
Piano – Dave Fraser (2)
Rhythm Guitar, Vocals – Ron Floegel
Saxophone – Skip Mesquite
Slide Guitar, Electric Guitar – Tom Phillips
Not sure if they all toured to europe for this performance.

Timothy B. Schmit was a founding member of the band in the early 1960s, which later changed its name from Glad to New Breed and eventually became Redwing again before Schmit left to join Poco and then the Eagles. Schmit’s time with the band predates his most famous associations with Poco and the Eagles, and the band released three albums after he departed. Here, the band is touring the 2nd LP- the last one that Schmit performed on.
