Murry Hammond- KNON, Dallas Tx 6/00 Interview and Live in Studio xfer from 1st gen cassette Old 97’s

Sorry for the late post. Given the storm and its aftermath, I am pretty sure that nobody in Sac was missing the post for today anyway. Since it is so late, you get a short audio post. Murry is the secret weapon of the Old 97’s. Looking forward to seeing them in a few months in Chico and Roseville.

Murry Hammond- Watering Wheel Demo 1989 xfer from 2nd gen audio cassette Old 97’s

OK, here is the one I was hoping to ask Murry about but I lost his contact info. Murry, if you want to reach out, please shoot me a message. I personally love this demo- it was during the Sleepy Heroes/Peyote Cowboys era of the late 80s when Murry & Rhett were going through a psych phase. Let me reiterate- this is really great. Unfortunately, I don’t have any song titles.
I think I got this from a guy named Riley, who is an old friend of Murry’s.
