This video is decent but not great. Gilman’s lighting was not very robust which left some of my videos dark and grainy. This is the best of the 2 Fugazi Gilman videos I shot. It was PACKED in there, so it was a challenging shot. I think I stood on my knees the entire time! Ow,

Every morning, I check what is on the ol’ tape list vs. what has already been posted to youtube or elsewhere for the On This Date in History post. There are some things that you just automatically assume are out there because fans have already dug up all there is from the band(s). I’m glad I did a quick search for this one- it’s not out there anywhere.
Apparently this was broadcast on cable TV. Michigan cable was ALWAYS the coolest, mainly due to Russ Gibb… but this doesn’t seem to be a Russ video. I wish I could get access to this 1st gen VHS tape so I could give it a proper lossless transfer, denoise and audio normalize. This one is good, but it would be nice to make it as good as possible.
