Low Flying Owls were local to Sacramento in the early 2000’s. I liked them, they were one of the best indie/psych bands in town. Then they moved to NYC and I lost track of them. This is a promo from their 1st release, “Take the Scenic Route” on Eddie’s The Americans are Coming label.
I think I see footage from Old Ironsides and The Crest’s lobby in there.

Were you all wondering where I went? The answer is taxes. I am deep down the tax receipt rabbit hole right now and it sucks… and this is for my personal stuff. I have not even started the nonprofit tax stuff except for the “I didn’t make much money” postcard filing. Lol.
It’s time for the local spotlight! I don’t know much about this band. Sam Coe went on to play in Low Flying Owls and I assume that Pete Coe is a relative. Not much out there on the other 2 members.
