This tape did not sound good at all when I digitized it. I EQ’d most of the distortion out of the original tape but it also muted J’s vocals, and drums were low in the original tape anyway. I did a post-EQ Izotope job and I think it sounds not terrible.
I spent WAY too much time trying to figure out where the band played on 10/12/88. There was no flyer image or even a picture of the club online.. and then I found the facebook group for Leek UK club goers. They saved me- thank you!
