The night after my birthday party at the Blue Lamp, the East Bay Punk movie played at The Crest. I got there late- wow, was it packed!
Being the completest nerd that I am, I videotaped the Q&A session. Sorry for the audio quality- I forgot to plug my mic in, and then once I did, the audio is too low. Wait for the volume to drop and then turn it up, if you want.

Man, the lighting and acoustics at Fox & Goose are pretty tough- after all these years, this was my first video from there. There is only green lighting from behind them, and the high ceilings make for imperfect audio. But Kevin & Allyson were great as usual, so I decided to post.

What a great show. This tour must have been a blast. Thanks to Lys Mayo for the nice mix. I was going to combine this with an audience recording but haven’t had a chance.
RIP Steve Soto.

The Kepi set I just posted was supposed to be posted yesterday- here is the one for today. We were very fortunate in Sacramento- Kevin and Allyson would play all the time. You could catch a set at least once a month, it was great. With the pandemic, Kevin and Allyson have not played a show in about 2 years. They are playing TOMORROW NIGHT 11/27/21, opening for David Houston at Luna’s. Try to make it out! I have a conflict, but I hope to bail from my thing early and make the show.

Well, what can I say about this? Having Kevin play the party was like a dream come true. 7 Seconds is one of my all time favorite bands. I think a lot of all the bands that played that day, but Kevin is kind of a larger than life figure to me. He was super cool and hung out with everyone. Allyson Seconds also came on “stage” and sang beautiful harmonies. Kepi on drums. Thanks to all of you for making the birthday so great!!
This is part 1 of 2.
