Kepi & Friends- Mraz, El Dorado Hills Ca 10/19/22 4K Multicam Fun in the Dark Set Groovie Ghoulies

Here is another one from Kepi’s run of shows through the Sacramento area last year, at about this time. This show is pretty special to me- this is the first rock show that my son attended. Well, he went and saw RAD back when he was a toddler, but he didn’t really understand what was happening. He was so stoked about this show, he bought a shirt (that he has worn about 50 times) and wants to play guitar. Kepi is still influencing the kids- such a positive influence and nice intro into the punk rock world. Thanks Kepi!
You can see me in one of the gopro shots filming and hanging out with him- that’s pretty cool.
Another reason why this is a special show is the setlist- Kepi performed the Fun in the Dark album along with some fan favorites at the end… I think… it has been a while since I was there.
I also love the tree mounted camera with the leaves in the way. Very earthy shot.

Kepi & Friends- Mraz Brewing, El Dorado Hills Ca 10/19/22 4K Multicam Late Set Groovie Ghoulies

Early post today for you. This is the last of the Kepi shows for now- he played 3 full band shows in the Sacramento area in a 4 day span last year! After the band played the Fun in the Dark set (see my other post for that set), they took a break and did another hour-long set at Mraz! Good set.
I miss having Kepi play shows here around halloween. He did play 3 nights at Golden Bull recently for their benefit, so please donate to their gofundme if you have it.

Kepi & Friends- Side Door, Sacramento Ca 10/15/22 4K UHD Multicam Schoeps Full Appetite Adrenochrome

Update 11/20/24: CRAP! Youtube removed this video. Here’s what they said: “We think your content didn’t follow our policy on harmful conspiracy theories.”. Kepi was JOKING, youtube-bot. I tried to appeal and the bot rejected it immediately. The future sucks, people. If you really want to see this, please contact me.

oh crap, I almost forgot to post today. Daughter had a soccer game in Elk Grove which chewed up most of the day.
This is the first of 3 Kepi multicams coming over the next couple of weeks- this is the show that Kepi booked at the Side Door with Head, one year ago today! We were recording through the soundboard on this one, but it didn’t come out so you get the Schoeps audio.
Kepi played the entire Appetite for Adrenochrome album at the show. I think this was only the 2nd time ever that this was done- the first being at the Harlow’s Cattle Club 30th celebration. Very special set. Shout out to Adam on drums, who was a last-minute fill in for Jaz Brown, who came down ill right before the show.
I love the A4A album. It’s a little more glammy/garagey than the other ones, it’s fun to hear it again. Thanks to Kepi for all that you share with us.
