And here is the real collections post for today. My good friend Anonymous recorded this one back in 2009. It’s crazy that Isbell is playing such big venues now. He played Blue Lamp TWICE in 2009!

This one sounds fantastic. He used a soundboard feed paired with his Neumann KM100 on stage mics with AK40 capsules.

I really like the early solo sets as he plays a bunch of DBT songs that he wrote during his stint in the band.

Jason Isbell- Blue Lamp, Sacramento Ca 4/4/09 Master SBD/Neumann Audience Matric Drive By Truckers

Here’s a nice one from Anonymous that came up from that Isbell Channel 24 show a couple weeks back. He recorded Isbell not once but twice at the Blue Lamp back in 2009. This was shortly after Jason left the Drive by Truckers and became a solo artist. Nice LONG set with a lot of songs he wrote with the DBTs along with his new (at the time) solo songs.
