Jackson Saints- Kilowatt, San Francisco 8/10/24 4K UHD Multicam with Schoeps Audio

As an extra bonus, the legendary Jackson Saints also played the Kilowatt show with Short Dogs Grow. Since I already had all the cameras set up, I figured I would video this set as well. Thanks to Janis for permission.
The band was active back in the early 90s and it seems that most if not all of the original members played the reunion show- correct me if I am wrong. It was pretty tough to figure out because I don’t see any recorded output on discogs and I am going from old band photos to figure it out. Janis, the Meade brothers (Erik & Kevin) seem to be there.
If you can tag/inform band members, I would appreciate it.

Here is the lineup for the show: Chuck Davis-vocals Janis Tanaka- bass Erik Meade- guitar Kevin Meade- guitar JT John- drums

Jackson Saints- Chatterbox, San Francisco Show #2 late 80s transfer f/1st gen DVCAM Tape

Yaaay! More archival awesomeness from Alfie Kulzick. This was one of 2 Jackson Saints sets at the end of that Papa Wheelie/Short Dogs Grow tape. The first set seemed fine until I played it back- everything is going along fine and then the audio tracks skips over to something from the same show, but comically out of sync, and then back in alignment again after a while. I don’t know if that is how it is on the source tape. I will need to run it again to see.

So we get this one instead. I think Erik mentions a missing band member at the start of the set, and they have always seemed to be a 4 piece. So this is a rarity.

Jackson Saints- The Chatterbox San Francisco Late 1980s transfer 1st gen DVcam tape Soundboard Audio

This Jackson Saints set may not be the best quality, but it is an absolute scorcher of a set. Does anyone know why they came on stage, proceeded to rip it up for about 10 minutes, get off stage, then some of the band comes back for a cover of Neil Young’s “Birds”… and that’s it? Talk about leaving the audience wanting more. Damn.

All tape flaws/audio hum etc is on the source tape, but it doesn’t matter.
