Jack was Oleander, before they were called Oleander! They consisted of: Doug Eldridge- Bass; Tommy Flowers- Vocals, Guitar; Ric Ivanisevich- Guitar; Henry (Mitch) Mitchell- Drums. Please tag them- I bet they’d love to see it! The audio is messed up at the beginning and there is some color bleed that was out of control of the crew. It’s still quite enjoyable. This one is from Lizz Fisher’s collection of Sacto Active Rock Broadcast master tapes. These were posted years ago from VHS copies, but these are far superior in both picture and audio quality. This one had some exposure issues, especially during the interview segment. I will try to re-digitize this one and adjust the overexposed parts in virtualdub.
Jack was 3/5 of the original Oleander lineup, 3 years before they released an album. Jack had Thomas Flowers, Ric Ivanisevich, and Doug Eldridge from Oleander, along with Henry “Mitch” Mitchell on drums.
