Cro-Mags: Blue Lamp, Sacramento Ca. 11/16/18 Multicam with enhanced soundboard audio

Here’s one that we never did because the lighting was such a challenge that night. The band only wanted a super bright red light on JJ and not much else. We were able to enhance the super dark gopro angles, and Zoran Theorodovic let us use his angle, and it turned out pretty good in the end. The grainy gopro angles mix pretty well with our cameras. Thanks Zoran!

Live Concert Video

Cro-mags: One Voice Fest, Plainfield Station, Woodland Ca. 10/5/13 Digital Audio Master DPA4061 Mics

Good news regarding yesterday’s video- Jakobe from the Deathryders and Matt from the Cafe have given us multitrack stubs to mix… so you will be getting a MUCH better sounding video soon! Thanks guys!
In keeping with the “I can’t believe I screwed up the video” theme, here is one of my greatest video f*ckups of all time. The band got to the fest super late- well after their posted start time. As they were scrambling to get set up, I asked if I could video and they gave me the OK. I did a 1 camera from the audience and it looked amazing. I was going to have it synched with this audio source, when I accidentally deleted it from the hard drive and the memory card and I could not recover it. So we only have audio. Sounds really good- enjoy.
This kind of crap never happened in the analog days. Grr.

Audio Live Concert

Cro-Mags: One Step Beyond, Santa Clara Ca 7/13/86 xfer from master tape w/partial improved audio

This one comes from Tim Redd Gallaher- he mailed me a DVD of this about a month ago- thanks Redd! The master tape is missing/gone but this DVD survived.

The audio track of the video is super distorted- borderline unlistenable. The crazy thing is that I had an audio recording of about 20 minutes of this set- so forward to about 6min 30 seconds if you want listenable audio- it’s pretty decent sounding for the last 19:00.

This is probably the best quality Cro-Mags video from 1986, and it’s absolutely nuts that it finally surfaces in 2025.
