Blue Mountain- Met Cafe, Proivdence RI 2/22/98 xfer f/DAT Soundboard Clone Alt.Country Americana

Busy day, so you get an On This Day late. If you have never heard Blue Mountain before, I urge you to look up their album Dog Days and listen- beautiful harmonies and excellent songwriting.
This show is good and I did my best to rebalance it in izotope, but the vocals max out from the soundboard, especially early on. It gets a lot better about 10 minutes in. Since the band relies on vocal harmonies so much, I didn’t want folks to get turned off right off the bat. You can listen to this about 10-15min in for a better representation or listen to the album.
Damned sbd mixes anyway.

Blue Mountain- Live on NPR’s Mountain Stage Radio Show, W. Virginia 9/20/96 xfer f/cassette master

Here is a quick and early one for today’s On This Date in History. Most Mountain Stage recordings sound perfect, but Blue Mountain had a reputation for playing loud and the FM mix seems to suffer from it. After I got this one completely done, I noticed that I had another copy odf this on my list- a DAT clone. Whoops!
Lineage: Cassette Master-DAT-WAV.
