HOODS- Northern Alliance Fest, Colonial Thtr, Sacramento Ca. 4/21/19 Live Hardcore Multicam w/Rode

Here is the last video that was in line to be edited from the Northern Alliance fest. We held back on it for a couple reasons- we already did a multicam of the band (from The Boardwalk), and the board tape did not work out for them. The bass drum was clipping badly, but the other bands were fine. I guess basilio kicks ass, literally!

Anyway, great hometown show by the band.

Lionheart- Northern Alliance Fest, Colonial Theater, Sacramento 4/21/19 5cam Multicam

Here’s something to break up the endless stream of Uncle Tupelo posts. Lionheart played the Northern Alliance fest last year. I had known Ricky for a while, but this was the first time seeing his band. Fun show- they were loose up there and having a good time.

The Empty Gate- The Maltese, Chico Ca. 4/19/19 Multicam with Rode audio Vomit Launch

It has been almost 30 years since I had seen Trish Rowland- the last time we were in the same room was 10/16/92 at the Cattle Club. Sam Habash and I trekked up to Chico to see her new band (The Empty Gate) play a show. She remembered me and we had a nice chat- she has always been so nice. Some things never change. 🙂

Sneeze Attack- The Maltese, Chico Ca. 4/19/19 Multicam with Rode audio

Me and my friend Sam went up to Chico to see The Empty Gate (Trish from vomit launch’s new band) and who do I run into? Sac’s own Sneeze Attack! How cool is that? This was their first show back after a long layoff. In fact, I think it was the first show in this incarnation of the band.

The theme this year was Colors. Live at Verge Center for the Arts.
