Man, this video is excellent. I have not been shy about my love for The Strange Party- I think they are the best small band in Sacramento right now. This video is a collaboration with me and Jim McLain. Jim supplied 2 of the camera angles, and I supplied 2 angles. Jim also brightened the gopro angle from behind the drummer, which really helps to improve these colonial videos. Audio is great, and I think that Strange Party as a 3 piece is better than the old version. No offense intended to Jordan (former bass player), but this lineup requires Justin (bass/vocals) to focus and he sounds WAY better. Thanks to Agelos for the killer edit job. This video has been on my hard drive for 2 days and every time I come back to post it, I end up watching it for 20min!

Oh man, SO MUCH to say about this one. So, I coach my daughter’s soccer team so I could not leave Orangevale until 1pm, and Jello was supposed to start at 2:30. I hauled ass down there and got there about 2 minutes before they went on. It was a bizarre atmosphere- like playing a family picnic. Everyone was sitting on picnic benches or in the shade on the grass. Children were dancing/frolicking during “Nazi Punks” and other songs. It was surreal and I am so happy that I made the trek for the show. So, this is only 1 camera. You can see my camera jigging around a bit- that is when I was holding it between my legs while I tried to set up other cameras. I only got as far as the gopro and it got heat stroke, so I gave up. I hope you can still enjoy, even though it is not up to my normal filming standard. Side note: I saw Jello at Goodwill about an hour after the show (I let him steal a stranglers LP I found). He said it was the oddest band booking he has been part of. The only thing that topped it was when he opened as a stand up comedy act for Tammy Fate Bakker! PS: You should drive to Antioch, driving the Delta is very nice.
