Elsah- Thirsty Tiger Tavern, Baton Rouge La Acoustic Set Alt Country Americana xfer from Hi8 master

This one, from Neil Werries’ collection, was an absolute pain to deal with. It was super dark on stage, but when I tried to perform a full brightness/contrast enhancement, the screen would flash dark and light to the point of annoyance. This was the best I could do with it. At least it sounds good, so you can treat it as an audio post if you’d like. The acoustic set highlights the quality of the songs here.

Inkwells & Gobbelins- Stork Club, Oakland Ca 2005 xfer from master VHS Enhanced

James R Edmonds sent this VHS tape over to me last month- even though I don’t know the artists well, it’s nice to see the old Stork Club on video again- no footage of the doll collection behind the bar unfortunately. I think James is the green guy with the big nose. If anyone has info on the performers of both bands, please let me know. Discogs has nada.

Death or Glory Festival- Plainfield Station, Woodland Ca. 2005. Master DVD upload

Bonus video day! This is so cool- a great document of the punk scene in the mid- 2000’s. I loved Plainfield Station for shows. Totally laid back spot. I went to death or glory 2006 and had a great time. I went to another fest in 2013 and scored a ton of great records for $5 each. Nothing but good memories of the place. Are they still having shows(pre-pandemic of course)?
