Another Robert Eggplant tape today, then back to Doug’s tomorrow. It’s funny that Mickie was one of the first to reply to yesterday’s Tiger Trap post about being old friends with Eggplant.. I already had this one on deck to post today.
Even though the mix is not perfect on this one (Danny and his stage volume ALWAYS drop guitar our of secretions board tapes!), it is worth a post since it was such an early show for the band. In fact, I don’t see anything even close to this era out there. This was after the release of their first 7″ and before the first full-length.
I did everything I could to boost up the guitar, but it is pretty buried. Luckily, the recording is clean enough to jack it up +9db in Izotope! This is as good as it can get for now.
