Green Day- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 5/3/91 xfer from VHS Master tape enhanced Arica Pelino Collection

Here is a special surprise post for a Wednesday. Arica has asked for this one to be shared this week- it is a show that she filmed at Gilman in 1991. She then handed off a suitcase packed with tapes (including this one) to me a few months ago for digitizing. This has been posted on youtube before- Rodney over at Bay Area Punk shows posted this set 12 years ago, but not in this resolution. EDIT- Rodney filmed this one, not Arica. Sorry Rodney!

Generator- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 5/3/91 xfer from master VHS Tape Enhanced Operation Ivy Rancid

Here is a special Thursday video post, at Arica Pelino’s request.
This one was posted by Rodney on his bay area punk shows channel WAY back in 2012, but this version is straight off Arica’s master tape that she filmed, and is upscaled to 1080 and degrained. So, better version is what I am sayin’
Generator was a very short-lived band that Matt Freeman and Tim Armstrong started prior to Rancid, and after Downfall ended. This is one of the only documents of the band. Thanks Arica!

Metallingus- Warrior on the River Styx demo 1991 xfer f/ master cassette Stikky Nasal Sex play Metal

Today is Wayne Vanderkuil’s birthday, so here is my gift to him- the mighty Metallingus from his tape collection. Yes, I am giving him his own tape for his birthday. Fight me.
Anyway, Metallingus was Chris Wilder from Stikky and the band Nasal Sex (Rocci Cerone, Joe Cerone, and Andrew Sacco). They wrote the most ridiculous metal parody songs and then they would play them live at the metal clubs. About half got the joke.

Burt Clifton: Is this his real name? Not sure.

Here is another one of Rodney Parker’s videos transferred with the lossless setup and enhanced/cleaned up afterwards. I need to warn people that there is NUDITY in this one, Jesse decided to strip nekkid and perform. So, I am setting this one to adult only, which means you need to prove age to youtube etc… sorry. Blame Jesse, haha.
