Here is a recording from a legendary Sacramento show, that ended in a riot w/ police outside the venue. I have a very long story to tell about this show, but I don’t have time now. I’ll post it with DRI’s set tonight.
Recorded by: Mark Martin
Equipment Used: Consumer Panasonic Recorder
I am in the middle to transferring some Attitude Adjustment cassettes for Eric Mcintire and I just realized that this is their opening set from the infamous, garbage can throwing Discharge show. It doesn’t sound too bad either.
Recorded by: Unknown, probably either Wayne Vanderkuil or Ricky (RIP)
Equipment used: Unknown
I know it is pretty early for a post but I can’t wait to send this one out, because we all got an amazing surprise yesterday- you just may not know it yet. Rick Strahl (bass player for Attitude Adjustment/Condemned Attitude/Attitude etc) released his project called Anti-Trust for sale yesterday (go to https://anti-trust.rocks/ to stream and/or buy the album). This is his music project with songs he has written over the years (he is a software programmer nowadays). It is KILLER, and it features Chris Kontos on drums and Andy Andersen from Attitude Adjustment/etc on vocals for a couple songs. Check the link in comments for where to buy.
As I mentioned the other day, I started to look through my older videos because I noticed that there were a few that I had not posted yet. I am halfway through numbers and “A” on one of my lists, there are a ton to do. To celebrate Rick’s project seeing the light of day, here is a really great old video of Attitude Adjustment, opening for the shitty metal version of Discharge at the Farm. House camera, soundboard audio. Hmmm… I wonder if video exists of Discharge getting garbage cans thrown at them. Who has all of these Farm tapes anyway?

Equipment used: It has been years, but probably the JVC HRS9911U and Canopus ADVC300
As I promised (or threatened, whichever is the case for you), here is the complete Final Conflict set. The video only has about 15min of real footage & soundboard audio, but the band played for 45min. Here is the complete set, audio only. This is worth the listen for the between song banter alone.

This is one of the better Final Conflict sets I have heard. They were opening for “Grave New World” era discharge, and they were not only bagging on them, but also the venue and anything else came to mind. Funny, entertaining show.

A/V synch by King Bean
Here’s another synch job that I have been hoping to get done for years. We had the video (not great quality, but this is a 1st gen from Andy Andersen) with HORRIBLE audio plus a separate soundboard audio tape that starts off kinda weird but improves after about 5min. Thanks to King Bean, we now have at least a listenable video. It was all distortion before.

Rebalance in Izotope RX7 (I boosted vocals and bass and maybe drums, can’t remember)

Back in 1986, Andy Andersen let me borrow a couple of Attitude Adjustment’s VHS tapes. This show from Fender’s has 3 bands- I have video for all 3 and soundboard audio for 2. This set is the one that doesn’t have a board tape, which is too bad because the audio sounds like hot garbage. Expect the 2 other sets to be posted with soundboard audio in the upcoming weeks.
