Let’s share one of those legendary Sacramento shows for today’s On This Date in History. The (unknown) taper recorded this onto DAT with Schoeps CMC4 mics. The version I am sharing here is Master DAT- Audio Cassette – My DAT- you. So many questions. Who did I get this from? It was on the end of a tape I recorded, so I didn’t trade for it. Someone must have brought the cassette over and I bounced it to DAT. Also, most Schoeps tapers that I knew back then were using MK4, not CMC4, so I have no idea how this happened.
It sounds really good. Nice job on the sound, whoever Brian McKenna hired that night!
