Capitalist Casualties- Macgregor’s, Elmhurst Il 7/26/92 transfer f/1st gen VHS tape Sonoma County Pu

Aw man, late post. This one is from Jason Ross’ collection and filmed by the Byrne brothers most likely. I picked this one because I recently digitized a video of this band at a house party in Sonoma County for the “Distrubing the Peace” exhibit at the Sonoma County Museum in Santa Rosa. this band’s intensity is off the charts. The exhibit runs until mid-August. I really need to get there one more time.

Capitalist Casualties- 26 Songs Demo transfer f/Master or low gen audio cassette Sonoma County Punk

Not only did Gabe Meline bless us with video from the Sonoma County Punk exhibit, he also had me digitize a bunch of Sonoma County punk live and demo tapes. This one sounds way better than the other ones I hear online, so it is worth a repost.
Out of all the tapes I worked up for the exhibit, this band was the big “discovery” for me. I always figured they were one of those crust/grindcore type bands, but no. This is classic early thrash- think early D.R.I.
There is a video of the band playing a house party that was digitized as part of this project and it absolutely shreds. Coming soon.
