This one is not good quality. I did my best to EQ the distortion out while making it somewhat listenable, but any time I have a chance to post a “not on youtube” Riot set with Guy Speranza on vocals, I’m gonna do it. And I’ll spend way too much time trying to make it sound decent.
I got this one in a tape trade with Ron Quintana back in the 80s. I think he had more Riot w/ Speranza that I never got before he quit trading. I wish those would pop up online someday…
This show takes place after Fire Down Under is recorded, but the guy introducing the band makes it sound like it hasn’t been released yet. Wikipedia shows February 1981 release. The set is heavy on the first 2 albums. I did hear “Don’t Hold Back”
And while doing research on all that above, I discovered that a Japanese pop artist covered “Warrior” with Japanese lyrics. Awesome and bizarre!
