Scream- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 10/31/87 xfer from 1st gen soundboard w/Dave Grohl Foo Fighters

It’s Monday, and here is another rare tape from Robert Eggplant’s collection. I had posted a different version of this show- a complete audience recording from Anonymous, but this one is a pretty nice soundboard recording. Unfortunately this one cuts at 45min, while Anonymous’ tape is the full 60min set. I think Dave Grohl was still on drums in 1987.

Scream- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca. 10/31/87 xfer from master audiotape with GROHL from NIRVANA

OK, I finally got sony soundforge back up and running on my PC- that was a nightmare.
So “Anonymous” went to Gilman on Halloween 1987 and saw Scream play. They had Dave Grohl playing drums at the time. I transferred the original D90 with my Nak Dragon, then remixed it and boosted the hell out of the bass since the original recording was a bit tinny.

Recorded by: Anonymous
Equipment used: Aiwa Handheld recorder
Remixed by: Shayne Stacy in Sony Soundforge 10 (bass boost/normalize)
