Deftones- Sacto Active Rock community cable show 1992 Live in studio FULL SHOW xfer VHS Master Tape

We have been sitting on this one for a long time- many years- but thanks to Lizz Fisher, we can finally post this. Thanks as well to Romain Coquette, who helped gather permission from the band to post the one song that has since gone a bit viral.
This version is a higher quality transfer off of Lizz’ (the show’s host AND producer) personal tape. And with this, all of the Sacto Active rock shows have now been documented and released. All of them (and thousands more) are available on the sacramentomusicarchive.com website.

Ian Faith- Sacto Active Rock, Sacramento Community Cable 7/13/91 xfer f/Umatic Master Tape

Late start today. Here is one from Lizz Fisher’s Umatic Master tapes of her Sacto Active Rock show. This had to be one of the first ones she did. Ian Faith was constantly playing Sac in the late 80s and early 90s. They even might have been on the bill for the first Cattle Club show ever. Here is an upgraded version of the VHS one I posted a few years back. This one looks great and sounds even better. Glad I got to see the band back in 2019 at the Cattle Club 30th reunion show.

It’s Not What You Think- Sacto Active Rock, Sacramento Community Cable 1/15/91 xfer f/Umatic Master

It’s time for another one of these upgraded Sacto Active Rock transfers. These have been posted before, but they were transfers off of a VHS tape. We are now making our way through all of the TV Station Umatic master tapes. Looks and sounds amazing!

This was the first episode of Sacto Active Rock. Features John Taylor on drums, before he joined Deftones I think. INWYT also played some of the first Cattle Club shows.
