Happy Monday! Here are 4 more Sacto Active Rocks for you. I borrowed Lizz’ master videos(THANK YOU)and converted/posted them for her. Out of all of them, this one was the biggest surprise. I was a big metalhead in the early to mid-80s. In fact, the very first concert I taped(audio) was Sentinel Beast at Helvetia Park in 1985. So, I start the VHS capture of this one and I was looking at the screen(no sound when I capture), thinking “that really looks like Debbie Gunn.” Well, sure enough, it is. She in Brutal Groove for a short time after Sentinel Beast and Znowhite. Awesome!

We have been sitting on this one for a long time- many years- but thanks to Lizz Fisher, we can finally post this. Thanks as well to Romain Coquette, who helped gather permission from the band to post the one song that has since gone a bit viral.
This version is a higher quality transfer off of Lizz’ (the show’s host AND producer) personal tape. And with this, all of the Sacto Active rock shows have now been documented and released. All of them (and thousands more) are available on the sacramentomusicarchive.com website.

Sacramento friends should like this one. This has been online for years, but this is a much better looking and sounding version. It’s a lossless transfer right off of the TV Umatic Master tape, so it doesn’t get much better than this. The quality really kicks in at about 7 minutes.

Late start today. Here is one from Lizz Fisher’s Umatic Master tapes of her Sacto Active Rock show. This had to be one of the first ones she did. Ian Faith was constantly playing Sac in the late 80s and early 90s. They even might have been on the bill for the first Cattle Club show ever. Here is an upgraded version of the VHS one I posted a few years back. This one looks great and sounds even better. Glad I got to see the band back in 2019 at the Cattle Club 30th reunion show.

Here is the first out of 2 Kai Kln appearances on Sacto Active Rock in 1991. I posted the 2nd one a couple weeks back. That shows you how popular the band was at the time. They were THE BAND in Sacramento at the time- packing clubs, opening big shows. infectious energy around the band.
Thankfully, there is no caroling in this one. Just absolute ripping.
