Today is supposed to be the local spotlight, but I have done a ton of local stuff lately so I am doing this instead. It’s a northern california band, so close enough.

I have been looking for this disc for years, and it finally showed its face while I was packing some stuff up in the studio. I love this band.

Back Story- I first saw Moses when they opened for Proudflesh at Eli’s Mile High Club in 2011. The vocalist was so high at that show that he was climbing an imaginary ladder into the sky- then do his vocal part without missing a beat. Never seen anyone perform that obviously high before, and I am pretty sure it wasn’t an act. They blew me away so I went to them to buy a CD. The vocalist was so out of it, he just handed it to me. He couldn’t transact. Haha. They wore their love of drgs on their sleeve- their old website (now gone) was called “mosesdoesdrgs dot com”. Lol, own it I suppose.

I think this might be their only physical release. I don’t see anything else anywhere and I searched quite a bit. I just discovered that they have 7 more songs on reverb nation that I need to download. A few are on this EP, but I don’t know if they are the same versions. And right on brand, this CD is kind of a mess. It is a silver (professionally pressed) CD, but there are tracks of nothing right in the middle of the EP, and one song has about 4 min of silence before the next track starts.

I wonder how the band is doing now. I hope they are still a band- GREAT stuff. No date on the CD but it must be from 2011 or earlier.
