Here’s Little Guilt Shrine’s appearance on the show. Great stuff. Members: Britton Holland: Drums; Dana Gumbiner: Vocals/Bass; Matthew Holland: Vocals/Guitar. I think. We’re a little less than halfway through posting all of these! Hang in there.

Man, I really don’t know much about these guys. They are labeled as an “avant-gard troupe” on some websites. Feel free to chime in with more info about them if you’d like, or let the band members know that this has been posted: Jack Hastings- Bass; James Stewart- Drums; Bob Jolly- Guitar; Gary Sears- Keyboard, Bass; William Fuller- Vocals, Keyboards; Linda Melvin- Vocals; Jane Hastings- Vocals. Enjoy.
Sacramento hardcore, early 1990’s.

Here’s the LAWN episode you have all been waiting for! lawn was not comprised of members of other bands, LAWN is an entity. LAWN is: Tod Sod(Ric Ivanisevich)-Lead Guitar; Clovis McDivot(Chris McCann)- Rhythm Guitar, Vocals; Pete Moss (Paul Stanley Niklewicz)- Bass, vocals; The Hedge (Steve Marshall)- Drums.
Here’s a LATE one from Anonymous 2’s collection. Side A of this tape (pictured) seems to be unreleased material. The “B” side (starts at about 17min) seems to be assorted tracks from their Halo album.
Kicking Giant was an indie pop/rock (or ‘love rock’) duo formed in New York City who later relocated to Olympia, WA. This seems to be written and recorded in both Olympia and NYC.
PNW Archives folks- I am tired and going to sleep. there may not be a link to this until the morning. You can always search this (and anything else) on sacramentomusicarchive dot com.

Happy DST Monday! I woke up with a migraine and it has continued to get worse. Ugh. Stupid tater tots.
Here is one from Rick Sylvain’s collection. the DJ who actually hosted these sessions isn’t Rick and he commented on some of these before, letting me know he had the entire thing including interviews. Please reach out if you see this- thanks!

Here’s another one that I have had sitting in my drafts for over a year- this one was one of those blind Russ Gibb ebay auctions that I picked up way back, and it turned out to be stuff he taped off TV. I dug into it a bit more and these seem to be sought after and with Franti’s DHoH, it made sense to post.
Alive from Off Center, renamed Alive TV in 1992, is an American arts anthology television series that aired on PBS between 1985 and 1996.
Each week, the series featured experimental short films by a mixture of up-and-coming and established directors.

Today’s video collections post comes from Barry Ward’s pile of VHS tapes. I was thinking of separating these but it was kinda fun just watching the entire thing.
The first part appears to be raw interviews from their appearance on Hard Copy. One of those “how the sausage is made” raw TV videos- it’s a fun watch. I think the live in Torrance is part of Hard Copy’s raw footage as well. The Bogus interviews is the guys screwing around at home. There was more, but there was some X rated magazine being filmed that I had to cut. The audio is distorted on the Bogus Ints source tape.

Collections post from Anonymous 2 today. I have been talking up A2’s massive local demo collection, but they also have a ton of demo tapes from all over the USA- most are masters! Crazy collection of obscure stuff.

Today’s collections post is the Sacramento region Local Spotlight! This was an idea that Jay Knox had about a year ago- why not showcase local bands’ music that is no longer commercially available? Between Jay’s CDs, my CD’s and Emily Cole Brown’s; we have enough for years of fun!
I found this one in a thrift store. I actually found 2 in 2 separate stores, a few days apart- one autographed and one not. The release seems to be rare. Available for sale on my discogs store.
