Planet on a Chain- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 11/26/23 5 cam UHD 4K Multicam with Multitrack Audio POAC

One of the openers for that Annihilation Time show was Planet on a Chain. They are from the bay area, so I have caught them a couple of times now. They put out some 7″s on small/self-released labels, and then they were signed to hardcore behemoths Relativity Records. I had a quick chat while buying merch and getting permission to video, and we were joking about them “hitting the big time”. Haha.
Anyway, by friend Tromster loves the band and this edit reflects that. The multitrack mix came out really nice as well. This could be the best sounding Gilman video since that Jawbreaker 2018 show, and one of the best video edits so far from the venue. I wish they could all turn out this good. The new lighting kinda messes with the gopros, otherwise perfect.

Planet on a Chain- The Colony, Sacramento Ca 4/28/23 4K UHD Canon HF G50 Rode Videomic Pro Stereo

After a busy day yesterday, I headed over to The Colony to catch the end of the hardcore show. Luckily, I got there right before the last band started. I was able to drive from orangevale, tape the set, and drive back in 90 minutes. That’s an efficient trip.
Planet on a Chain are based in Oakland, but their vocalist now lives in Texas so they don’t play very often. In fact, this is their first show after releasing their album “Boxed In” on Revelation Records earlier this year.
I was in a hurry to get out the door and accidentally grabbed the wrong camera. It still came out fine, but I wish I had the G60.
