I’m a little late with today’s on this date in history- it is my daughter’s first day of high school! Pretty exciting. I had to digitize this one as I didn’t have anything prepared.

Even though this isn’t as exciting as the 2nd stage set that I posted a year or 2 back, this is still a solid set. Surprised they got 50 minutes, but they were billed pretty high. I recalled this one not sounding great but it is a lot better than I remembered.

Recorded by: Shayne Stacy

  1. I was at that show. Gary Young’s Hospital was scheduled to play a side stage, but they got bumped at the last minute so some major label “baby band” (Lit, signed to RCA) could take the slot. Pavement was fucking great, Cypress Hill had a giant inflatable Buddha and bong, Courtney Love was laughably comical, Beck was good, and I kinda remember a ska-type band like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The next Lolla show at Cal Expo, Hospital got to play.
