Since I am awaiting yet another video to finish processing to 4k, here is an amazing early document from the sac punk scene. In fact, is this the earliest video document from a Sacramento area punk band, I think. The youtube post says “Place High”, but I bet this is Placer High School since they were from the area. It looks like a school auditorium and that is an obvious school chair side stage.
Thanks to Ken Doose for telling me this existed.
Yea, this was Placer High School in the auditorium probably late ’82 or early ’83. It was a video project done by a student for his class assignment. I was singer for the band until our final show with Minor Threat at The Crest Theatre put on by the Kavanaugh bros. Then I quit, and Earl Miller took my place. The majority of our Sacramento shows were put on by Stu Katz at Clunie Hall in McKinley Park. Once Club Minimal started, I had moved on to focus on preparation for university.
thanks for the confirmation, and thanks to the band for the document!
