Clan of the Bleeding Eye- Maritime Hall, San Francisco 8/27/01 xfer from DAT Master Soundboard

In one of Eggplant’s tape dumps, he included some DATs in the box. This is one of those DATs. It was pretty cool to see a Maritime Hall “official” DAT. Mix was light on guitar and vocals so I rebalanced it in Izotope and it sounds alright after a couple minutes. I think Eggplant actually played in this band, but the band has stage names like “Xiosk” and “Chains”, so I can’t really tell.
Obviously doom/goth metal, if the name didn’t make it obvious enough.

Deftones- Maritime Hall, San Francisco Ca 12/20/96 xfer from 8mm master tape Enhanced 1080p

This weekend will be all stuff from Gary Shurtleff’s archive that I transferred for him a year or 2 back. He graciously allowed me to enhance and post all sacramento related bands and shows. Check out more of his stuff at @bootlegcowboys … neat video really works magic on the old 8mm tapes. I need to get back to my masters someday soon…
Anyway, following up the partial Deftones set last week, here is a complete Deftones show from 1996 on the adrenalin tour.

Steve Miller & Creedence Clearwater; Sir Douglas Quintet- Maritime Hall, San Francisco Ca. 4/30/94

We had a tie in this week’s Patreon Voter’s Choice poll, so I’ll post them both. I need more people joining and voting so we can stop with the tie votes- you’re killin’ me!
This one came from the same person as the Roky Erickson studio rehearsals last week. This was a raw board mix- very high on bass and drums- so I went ahead and rebalanced it and I am happy with it. And holy crap- this has been sitting here for over 25 years as “Sir Douglas Quintet 1981”, when it actually is part of this All-Star tribute to Chet Helms with a ton of bands!
Not only that, but the first 10 minutes is not Sir Doug- it appears to be Steve Miller and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Thanks Patreon voters for making me revisit this one- amazing.
