Couch Potato Massacre (from Minneapolis) was part of that show that City Mouse headlined at the Cafe a couple months back. In fact, I think they did this whole part of the tour with them. Miski described them as a great band that plays songs about classic TV.. and with song like “Flaming Moe”, “We’re the Meeseeks” and “Carlos the Dwarf”, she wasn’t wrong. Since I am not big on novelty bands, I was planning on sitting this set out (I was tired) but then they started and they had that classic, early soul asylum sound that I love so much. So, long story short, I scrambled and got the camera ready and got most of their set.
