Here’s another one that should be a 4K soon. Hank and Lulu is the new name of Kevin and Allyson’s acoustic duo project. I love how Kev and Allyson harmonize together. Short set of all their best known songs.

Mother of a Girl- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 12/13/19 Violent Femmes tribute 4K GH5S
I am not usually a tribute band kind of guy, but these guys were spectacular! It was nice to hear high energy versions of the songs I grew up with. Special bonus- the band has Danny from Knockoffs/Secretions on guitar/vocals and Bear from Sitting & Waiting, Final Summation and more kicking ASS on drums!

Man, no posts for 2 days. Sorry about that. Youtube has some issues with uploading and processing 4k video sometimes. I tried to upload this video on Saturday morning and it got stuck at 3%. I re-uploaded and it took YT 12 HOURS to process to 4k resolution. So you get a couple posts a day to make up for it.
Jordan Wolfe assembled a stacked lineup for the Front Street Animal Shelter benefit on Friday night. Brian Hanover kicked off the show. It was nice to hear a couple Union Hearts songs- that album is so good.

Vinnie Guidera and the Dead Bird- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 12/13/19 Lumix GH5S 4K Live UHD
After the rousing set by Sick Burn, we all made our way back to the Cafe for Vinnie Guidera and the Dead Bird. The formal name of the band is “birds” at the end, but one bird(Bass) couldn’t make it so it was singular for the night.
Vinnie is a great songwriter. This one starts out rough audio-wise. It is ALL drums. It gets better a few minutes in. Stick with it or fast forward.

Sick Burn- The Colony, Sacramento Ca. 12/13/19 4K UHD Live Hardcore
Here is Sick Burn’s first show back after they toured Japan. I was worried that my filming was going to be too jumpy/active, but it works for them. Trying to keep track of Lory as she ran through the crowd kept me on my toes. I missed about a song due to a battery change.

Here is Your Friends’ set from The Colony last Friday. I am not usually a big fan of this style of punk, but Jordan & co have just enough pop to pull me in. Great band.
